CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
- 36 holes; net stroke play.
- Entrants will be divided evenly into flights based on Handicap Index after entries close.
- Playing Handicaps will be determined based on 95% of each player’s Course Handicap.
- The SCGA Championship & Golf Operations Committee reserves the right to adjust a player’s course handicap at any time before or during the competition.
Thursday, August 22: Round 1 on El Dorado Park GC (18 holes).
Friday, August 23: Round 2 on Recreation Park GC (18 holes).
ELIGIBILITY: This championship is open to amateurs with an established Handicap Index who are active members of a current SCGA public or affiliate club that is currently certified under the World Handicap System requirements. Entrants who are listed on a private or semi-private club’s roster must also be listed on a public or affiliate club roster to be eligible.
ENTRIES OPEN: Wednesday, January 10, 2024
ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday, August 11, 2024
CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament details, including information about practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages played, will be emailed and posted on scga.org after entries close.
ENTRY FEE: $225
LATE ENTRIES: The SCGA accepts late entries, assuming space is still available at the given event. Late entries will be subject to an additional $20 fee and can only be processed over the phone or through email.
REFUND POLICY: Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $20 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
